Automation that knows when to ask.
Good automation doesn't replace judgment. It removes the repetitive work around it. Here's how we design, build, and run automations that your team can trust.
Practical, not magical.
For OVRNT, AI business automation means combining three things: workflow automation that moves data between your systems, AI that reads, summarizes, and drafts, and people who approve the decisions. The AI handles the parts that are repetitive and well-defined. Your team handles the parts that need judgment.
Good candidates
- Repeated weekly or daily
- Follows recognizable rules
- Uses data already in a system
- Has a clear “done” state
- Is currently copy-paste or chase-heavy
Poor candidates
- Rare, one-off decisions
- Requires deep relationship judgment
- Depends on data no system holds
- Has legal or safety consequences without review
Five stages, one process at a time.
- 01
Assess (free)
A conversation about your operation, systems, and pain points. Output: a short summary of one to three automation opportunities.
- 02
Map
We document the current workflow step by step: inputs, systems, people, exceptions, and approval points.
- 03
Build
We configure the assistant and integrations in a test environment using your real workflow (and test data where possible).
- 04
Test and approve
Your team runs it in supervised mode. Every output waits for approval. We adjust until it's right.
- 05
Launch and measure
We go live, monitor, and report against the baseline we set in the Map stage.
Pricing for implementation is scoped after the assessment, based on the process, systems, and support you need.
AI drafts. People decide.
Every OVRNT automation includes approval checkpoints. A checkpoint is a step where the assistant stops and waits for a named person to act.
What you control
Where checkpoints sit — before an email is sent, a record is changed, or a report is shared.
Who approves — by role, person, or dollar threshold.
How they approve — in the OVRNT client portal or by email.
When to relax them — low-risk steps can move to “notify only” once you're confident. High-risk steps can stay manual forever.
What every checkpoint records
Honest note
Approvals don't make automation perfect. They keep a person accountable for what leaves your business — which is how it should be.
Your existing tools, working together.
We prefer to connect the systems you already use instead of replacing them. Typical categories: accounting, CRM, project management, email and calendar, file storage, forms, and spreadsheets.
Platforms we've tested so far: Claude, GrokBot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, HeyGen, Apollo, Supabase and Lovable.
Don't see your tool? Ask during your assessment. If we can't connect it reliably, we'll say so.
Your data, handled carefully.
- We access only the systems and data a workflow needs.
- We document what data each automation uses and where it goes.
- Approval checkpoints keep a person in the loop for decisions that affect customers.
- We follow Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and, where applicable, Quebec's Law 25.
- Our CRM database is hosted in Canada (Supabase, Montréal region). Other providers we use, including website hosting, may store or process data elsewhere; see our Privacy Policy.

FAQ
Do we need to replace our software?
Usually not. We start by connecting what you have.
Will AI send things without us knowing?
Not unless you decide it should. Every automation starts with approval checkpoints on any customer-facing or financial step.
How long does a first automation take?
It depends on the process and systems. We'll give you a realistic timeline after the Map stage.
What if it doesn't work for our process?
We'll tell you during the assessment or mapping — before you invest in a build.
Can we learn to do this ourselves?
Yes. That's what OVRNT Academy is for → OVRNT Academy
